Articles: Fremington Church website gets a make over
Date Added: 09/03/2017 @ 3:00pm
As you can imagine, we've been rather busy over the past few months and one of the many projects we've been working on has been the new website for St Peter's Church in Fremington, North Devon.
The church, or churches as it would be more accurate, are relaxed and friendly and meet throughout the week in the town of Fremington, as well as in groups and churches in other local villages that make up the local mission community.
New church website
Their rector, Rev'd Steve Goodbody, approached us towards the end of 2016 asking whether we could update the existing website following the sad passing of their previous website designer.
In the months the followed, we set about re-designing the website and re-inventing it for 2017. The new website, which is built upon our in-house bespoke content management system includes a dynamic calendar system allowing the church administrators to quickly and easily keep the website up to date.
Bespoke CMS
In fact, most elements of the website, including photos, moving banners and news can be quickly updated by staff and volunteers at the church. But more than that, the website also includes a members only area, so that more sensitive information can be privately managed by members - making it an admin tool as well as a website. And of course, it is also mobile friendly, as is a basic requirement in modern times.
We look forward to working with Rev'd Steve and the team at Fremington's Anglican churches again in the future.
